Emerald: Fiona Wars XIV — Against All the Demons of Chaos, or Rali’s Revenge

Emerald is an insanely evil kingdom of horrors. Dworkin is mad, and his son Oberon ate most of his own eldest children. He was slain by Fiona, who has been the puppet mistress ever since. All reality dances to her tune, and she orchestrates it with her own mad, evil genius. She has recently begun the first of a series of wars with Chaos, seeking new playthings. The patron beast of Emerald is a Chimera.

Dlareme plots beneath the waves. Fiona slew Llewella, but left her daughter Rali alive to rule in her stead (for details, see FW VII: Free Dlareme). Rali, also insane, has finally raised an army capable of razing Emerald while Fiona is away. Julian, master of the Wood, might have stayed her, had he not been slain some eighteen years ago (for details, see FW XII: A Flattering Offer, or Get Your Hands Off My Ass). Tir Nan Og is a city off limits, inhabited by the one son of Faiella she managed to spirit away -- Corwin. The city comes and goes, bearing witness to the lunacy below it.
