Jet: Was, Is, and Will Be

Jet is the heart of everything dark, brooding, and evil. Oberon locked Dworkin away forever, and proved so powerful that Osric and Finndo are his self-proclaimed bodyguards, claiming for themselves the privilege of killing him. A dark place ruled by an evil family, Jet is a source of horrors unnumbered. Its patron beast is the Basilisk.

Julian’s preserve is called Coal, and is made up of dead, dying, and diseased trees. His warriors are undead, and rip themselves up out of the soil at his command. Corral, known for its incredibly fast sea-horses, is ruled with an adamantine fist by Gerard. Obsidian hangs in the sky, but is strongest when the moon is new.

Warrior supreme of his generation, he is good enough to recognize the futility of fighting Oberon now. He and his brother wait and ward against one fateful day. He wields a Pattern Blade.

Corwin

At war with Finndo, in love (in all the worst ways) with Deirdre. Some say his mastery of Greyswandir may be all that is saving him from death.

Caine

The King of Crime in Jet and Shadow.

Deirdre

Corwin’s treacherous lover, secretly in league with Finndo.

Fiona

Oberon’s mental assassin and, more often, mind editor. She wants so much more, though

Bleys

Allowed by Oberon to escape, in the hopes that he would provide a worthy, if brief, opponent. Bleys surprised him by being much more patient, and has begun wars with Jet’s outmost defenders, Julian and Gerard.

Llewella was cast from her throne in Corral by Gerard, and rots in the dungeons

Oberon’s perfect darling. Also his slave mistress, and mother of another of his children

Necromantic master of the Undead, Julian could rule Coal through fear alone.

Gerard

New King of Corral, he at last has the sea-horses he coveted. Now, he dreams of helping Osric and Finndo kill their father

Deirdre’s son. Most everyone, including Corwin and Mordred himself, believe him to be Corwin’s child. His father is Finndo

Fiona’s son by a Lord of Chaos, Magnus is a monster at her command.

Selene

Corwin’s daughter by a woman of Obsidian. Deirdre HATES her

Erato

Fiona’s daughter. Attractive as sin, and mindless. Her mother uses her for bait.

Flavius

Son of Oberon and Florimel. He is a sexual sadist, who sometimes practices on his own mother

Alexia

Brand’s eight year old daughter, and as amoral as they come
